Project Title: Combined Endline and Baseline Evaluation Study for the Department of Agriculture – Philippine Rural Development Project (DA-PRDP) Assessing the Original Loan (OL), First Additional Financing (AF1) and Second Additional Financing (AF2) and Establishing Baseline for PRPD Scale-Up
Project Duration: Contracted until 31 August 2025
Terms of reference:
The Project Assistant is responsible for providing administrative and logistical assistance to the Project Leader and Consultants. Specific tasks will include, but are not limited to the following:
- Assists in the logistical and administrative preparation for fieldwork, workshops, meetings, and project-related activities;
- Provide administrative support to the research team under the guidance of the Project Administrative Assistant (Consultant);
- Manage procurement and monitor project budget and disbursements and preparation of administrative and financial reports;
- Maintain an organized system for filing and record-keeping of all project documents and correspondence.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Minimum qualifications:
Educational background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Accounting, or other related fields.
Work experience:
- At least 2 years of experience in administrative and logistical support, preferably in government or donor-funded projects.
Skills and competencies:
- Knowledge of financial management, including preparation of financial claims and compliance with funder guidelines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with basic accounting tools or systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain an organized filing and record-keeping system.
- Demonstrated experience in procurement processes, budget monitoring, and disbursement documentation.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Other requirements:
- Can start immediately.
- Willingness to travel to project sites for fieldwork and coordination meetings.
