Project Associate

Project Title: ADB-funded project titled: TA-10009 REG: Accelerating Climate Resilience in Agriculture, Natural Resources and the Environment - 4 Climate Resilient Agriculture.

Terms of Reference:

The Project Associate is responsible for providing technical and administrative assistance to the Project Consultants. Specific tasks will include, but are not limited to the following: 

1. Collect relevant secondary information from various sources. 
2. Assist in the conduct of workshops with the donor and executing agencies.
3. Prepare billing for submission to the lead agency
4. Organize and provide support during meetings and consultations, including preparing discussion materials. 
5. Assist in the preparation of the necessary reports;
6. Perform other duties as needed for the successful completion of the project and its implementing unit.

Minimum qualifications:

Educational background:

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Economics, Environmental Science, Development Studies, Social Science, or other related fields.

Work experience:

• At least 2 years of relevant professional experience in implementing research projects, preferably in agriculture, rural development, or related sectors.
• Proven experience in data gathering.
• Prior involvement in government or donor-funded development projects is an advantage.

Skills and competencies:

• Proficiency in data encoding, management, and analysis, including experience with statistical software (e.g., SPSS, Stata) or other relevant tools.
• Excellent research and analytical skills, including the ability to synthesize information from various sources.

Other requirements:

• Can start immediately.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Can efficiently work under pressure.
